What to Do about those Annoying Ums and Ahs

In my two decades in and out of Toastmasters, you’d think that ums and ahs are the biggest sins on the planet. They even have a person whose job it is to spot them. I disagree! If you’re standing up there worried about what you’re saying, you’re not focused on the right thing – your audience.

So should you work on it? And if you decide you should, what should you do about it. Watch this video to see the one tip I have rarely heard, but that has helped me not only lessen them, but seem much more confident at the front of the room.

P.S. You can be the type of presenter who is confident and impactful in front of the room.
